Both meet at Castle Danger Trailhead Parking Lot location
The Superior Hiking Trail Association will be leading two guided hikes to celebrate National Trails Day! Both hikes meet at Castle Danger Trailhead parking lot.

Long hike: Gooseberry Falls State Park to Castle Danger, 9.1 miles. Hike along the Gooseberry River, then enjoy Mike's Rock and Wolf Rock.

Short Hike: Castle Danger Trailhead to Crow Valley Campsite and back, 2.4 miles total.

The 3rd annual SR2 youth triathlon is coming up on June 7th and will be held rain or shine! Bike helmets and swim caps are mandatory (caps will be provided). Athletes will be timed for the bike/run portion seperatly from the swim portion. Advanced online registration for Lake Superior School District students will be $5. Non-resident student fee will be $20. Advanced registration closes at 8 AM on June 7th, with same day registration available for $20 the evening of the event. No refunds will be allowed for this event. A free swim practice will be held for registered participants on May 30th from 5-6 PM.
